Job Description

The web development team on the Kerry-Edwards campaign was responsible for all of the content on johnkerry.com, including day-to-day press releases, speeches, and ads, state-specific pages, endorsement information, web forms, and the general site design, as well as the occasional implementation of another department's pet project. We worked with Atomz, a full content management and template system, and Akamai's caching system. I worked sixty hour weeks from Labor Day until the general election in November. The site averaged 1.2 million pageviews per day over that time.

Job Description
Haystack is a tool for end-users meant to relieve reliance upon a dozen independent applications for email, instant messaging, address books, web browsing, reading news feeds, etc., with the ultimate goal of allowing individuals to manage all of their information in whatever way suits their desires in one application. This is an ongoing project with a dozen or more undergrads, graduates, and professors contributing to it.
